I put one on mine in the late 90's. Easy to see but not as precise. It still glows. 640 is hard to beat imho for a CCW. More miles on mine than any handgun I have ever had.

65 3IN Best packin 6 shot there is. 7 shot 386 mtn lite is better yet if you can handle the HOLE. 400 for a 65 in good shape w/no box or papers would be acceptable here. 500 tops for me. I'm cheap usually. One of my favorite Smiths, period.
