Bill Allard was a great guy and a superb marksman. Accounted for more bad guys than anyone else in the history of the NYPD. I was a new shooter in the Guard when he won the civilian national championship at Perry. Loved his stories about working in NY.

Simple is good. I've found that I shoot the 3" HB as well as the 4". And the 3" is somewhat easier to conceal than a 4" This one below was my off-duty gun long after semi-autos were approved.

Below gun was John Hurst's PPC revolver that was gifted to me by John.
Frame was cut with a hacksaw by John. Stocks are Micarta, late 70's vintage.

Just talked with Alan Aronstein at Hi Standard Houston. He had a couple of new mags fitted for me to a Sharpshooter I bought at Cabelas. Hi Standard is manufacturing the new Victor with a stainless frame now, and it's a great pistol. Plans are in the works to build a Trophy 5.5" before the end...
