Ammo

I have 19 boxes of Federal Match 185 SWC 45B that I purchased on another gun forum in 2019. I was going to use it for competition accuracy type matches. Fricken COVID hit before the next season and changed our shooting seasons and my workload. I put it all in boxes and stored in my garage to save for down the road. I have a David Sams Colt 1911 set up for target rounds.

I recently went to shoot it, preparing for a match and was getting intermittent rounds that were angled upward in the chamber.

Older shooting partners told me I would have to modify my mags to make the shorter rounds feed more reliably. Of the rounds I shot, smooth recoil impulse and knocking out the center of the target. my workload is still high, and my Colt is set up for the longer slug 185/200 LSWC, and I don't want to modify that piece or its mags. So, I made the decision to just let these go.

19 boxes (950 rounds) of Federal 45B

$475 green US dollars face to face Victoria, TX.

that's .50 cents a round.

I am not willing to break up this lot.

I might consider driving out 45 min to meet someone halfway from San Antonio, Houston, Austin or Corpus Christi, TX (after we speak).

Respond with an "I will take them" and immediately follow up with a PM, trumps any tire kickers.

no trades

17 boxes end with lot #1578

2 boxes end with lot #0637

the single box on the left has a few rounds left and some of the OFB that I was able to find. It's part of the package.

Sorry, I am too busy to deal with any red tape of shipping ammo.

TIA

I can provide more pics if needed

Springfield Armory 1911 Barrel

2008 Model Springfield Armory MC Operator .45 ACP barrel with link

I purchased a used MCOP back in 2008 with 200 rounds through the tube. I drove this dude hard, and it has over 18K through the barrel (230 hard ball and 230 Gold Dot). Accuracy was still very duty acceptable.

I thought the barrel was cracking at the bottom next to the feet and sent my MCOP to Schauland Performance. Rob told me the barrel is not cracking, it just marks from the hard use. He did tell me that he had a brand-new factory Springer .45 ACP barrel and that he could fit it much tighter than the factory could. This is my duty carry firearm and I did not want to stray away from factory on the major components. Rifling looks good to me.

Hard used Springfield Barrel .45 ACP 5" with link (nothing else)
Hood width .431"
Hood length .157"

Respond with a "I'll take the barrel" and follow up with a PM.

Please don't ask me if this will fit a Colt or Tisas, etc. It came out of a Springfield Armory MC OP. I can confirm that with 100%.

One of the images shows what appears to be a mark by the feet. It is not a crack. It is hard to see with my eyes, so magnified image to enhance the mark.

Colt Parts

Early 1980s take off parts from a Colt 01970-MN2 serial #70B19xxx Govt Model 5" .45ACP

I still have the box and it's a Colt Custom Gun Shop marked #F.O.#11395 (box not included)

My dad bought two of these guns, one blue steel and the other was Coltguard which was their version of nickel plating. These are take-offs from the Coltguard Series 70 firearm. I was mad when I learned my dad traded my uncle the blued Colt for a 30-30.

Steel Long Trigger (my dad polished the side flats)
Mueschke Ambi Safety with notched sear pin
MMC Low profile W/O adjustable rear sight with brand new stake on S70 blued front sight.
Solid barrel bushing (not the collet bushing)
Magazine release body (no internals)
Steel firing pin
Firing pin stop
Bobbed hammer (this hammer was tuned by a gunsmith in Houston, Texas early 80s. Incredible trigger press but too light for defensive. Target/range use only.
Hammer strut.
Barrel link.

I don't know what happened to the rest of the parts. They might have made their way with other parts, and I don't recall which go with this set. I sent this gun off to Yost and Bonitz in 2005 for mods and these parts came back. I think the Colt barrel was sold when it returned in 2005.

This will only be sold as a set.

Note - in the upper right hand corner of one of the images, is a 1988 S80 Colt hammer taken off from a COACP. It was rubbing the sides of the slide and in the 90s, not knowing ****... I filed a taper on both sides. While it made the impact surface smaller, I ran it for yearssssss with no issues. When I sent the Colt OACP to Alchemy in 2014, he changed hammers. Since it's in the pic, I will include it with the parts. You can run it in a junker or throw it away.
