    3rd Gen with red dot sight

    Nice to see a revival of this thread. I have a spare top end that fits 3913/6906 and I thought a red dot would make for a modern take on an ASP. A Holosun 407K would be my choice. I currently carry a Walther PPS M2 with a RMSC optic, but I love the 39xx platform.

    Now that the Shield is available with a red dot sight, has anyone considered putting one on a 3913 or a 6906? Is it even possible to mill the slides to take one? For someone who doesn't care for plastic guns, it would sure be a sweet carry piece.
