I had a Taurus 44 spec snub, Loved it except that the cyl bolt would not stay locked, allowing the cyl to rotate while in my holster; And the transfer bar had a very delicate stud necessary for operation. It could break easily. I traded it partially for a S&W 65 3" RB. That had a fire pin...

Often had trouble with .45 Colt caliber. Cylinder throat dimensions vs bore dia, also too large case capacity for low pressure powders available post black powder. I see magnum primers necessary to light random placement of said powder charge.
