So very true! I should have known better! I do now!
BTW..... All 400 rounds were factory Federals. I'm lucky I did not damage the gun by forcing the cylender in, or out for that matter.
I'm somewhat embarrassed that it was such a simple problem!
Stainz,
You've got to be kidding me!!! I read your reply and thought.....
"there is no way this could be and ejector rod problem" "maybe Stainz just doesn't understand what I mean or perhaps I did not explain myself very well"
That being said...... Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! You...
Just bought a new 625 JM. I took it to the range for the first time today. After about 400 rounds the gun malfunctioned.
I could not close the cylender after I reloaded. So I took the moon clip out and tried another. Even thought they both looked fine. When I put the new moon clip in, I checked...
Does anyone have some suggestions and even perhaps pictures of a leather holster for a 4" 625 JM?
I would prefer one without the thumb brake, but so far the only picture of a holster I can find is on S&W's web sight and that is a Galco with the thumb brake.
Any thoughts or suggestions from...
I have been considering my next gun purchase for the last month. I was looking at the 317 Kit gun, a model 17, a model 63, and even a TRR8. However I kept coming back to the 317 for the following reasons:
It was super light and I have nothing like it.
It is a .22 so it's really cheap to shoot...
Has anyone ever bought a Deluxe Moonclip Tool from Mooncliptool.com? If so what has been your experience?
Is it a good product and a legitimate business?
I am hesitant to send a check to an individual instead of a business.
His name being Clint Walker doesn't reassure me much either.
Any...
Please tell me this isn't so!!! I was in there Sunday and asked if they had a sale coming up! I was told no! I thought maybe they would for Presidents Day or the IDPA Winter Nationals.
Do you mind me asking what you paid for the 317? I have been looking at the 317 3" Kit gun with the high viz...
Nice picture of a really nice looking revolver. I was just looking at one today. Even though you took a nice picture, it really doesn't do the gun justice, I'm sure you agree.
Jack, Thanks!!!
This maybe a real possibility due to the way I grip the the gun. I have a S&W 1911 9mm Pro Series and never had a problem like this. But with the 3" it sounds like it could be the issue.
I can't wait to get to the range tomorrow to test this out!
I had this for about 2 months. I bought it new. The problem happens with all three magazines. I have also tried a standard 8 round 1911 magazine with the same results.
