    M&P 22 compact threaded - WOW!!!!

Really like both of my M&P22 Compacts (used). I bought a used one and then after I bought my dueling tree on my way "up north" to the cabin picked another used one up at a gun store for a very good price (super, super dirty though). With both of them though, the sights were off, one was way...

    M&P22C General Consensus Pro/Con?

I had the M&P22C and it shot about 4 different kinds of 22lr ammo with no issues. My previous NIB Buckmark had many issues with various ammo choices. Very, very good shooter, I think a good fit for the hand also. Have owned M&P 9L, M&P9 FS, M&P9C and M&P 9 Shield. I think the compact is an...

    WTS/WTT: Buckmark URX Stainless 22LR w-Extras _ FTF MN

I have a slightly used Browning Buckmark URX Stainless 22LR handgun for sale. I'm asking $400. It comes with 2 factory Browning Mags. McFadden Ultimate Cliploader, you will love this mag loader. I also have a HKS 22-B Caliber 22LR Magazine Speedloader. I installed the Browning upgraded...

    9mm load book discrepancy.

I've found the same thing. I wanted to triple check where the Xtreme 147gr RN bullets I got fell into. Xtreme's website says: "We add 4 to 6 thousandths more plating than brand X." Which seems to me that they could be around the 7.5 thousands mark compared to the Berry's bullets around 3.5...

How well have 147gr bullets performed in your FS 9mm

I hope to find out fairly soon. I did a lot of reading and decided to get the 147 gr bullets since they give you less recoil than the other ones. Been setting up my Dillon 650 for awhile now (problems with Hornady Bullet Feeder Die) but going to skip that and start a few rounds with the powder...

    Gun show, plenty of Shields

I've been to the LGS, 4 different ones since April about 7-8 times and haven't seen one yet, 9mm or 40. Really want to handle one. Eventually the LGS&R has to get one for a rental for their range, but who knows how long that'll be though.

    M&P 9mm accuracy issues?

Most of those 9mm's I'm sure were before mid 2010 or so. Saying that there are newer ones for sure that will get 3" and sometimes 2", but those are the exception by and large. The .45's have always been very accurate from what I've read through the years on many other forums. Same goes for...

    M&P thumb safety or not?

I think it's great that S&W gives people the option. Like someone said he used it at his bedside and then wanted to carry it and now put it back at his bedside. Info below is based on that this will probably be my only M&P for a few years for sure (only handgun really except for...

    Storm Lake vs KKM

If yours gets 6-8" out to 25 yards __from a rest__ then yes I'd say get one for sure. There is a major problem with the M&P 9mm's, the compact not as much as a problem. You could wait until Apex comes out with the new locking block which should fix the dwell time which IS causing accuracy...

Glock vs. M&P-yup. I'm askin' it.

ToddG did a torture test on the M&P. I also don't know if you can make comparisons like Ford vs Chevy when Glock isn't even an American company, even though I understand why people bring it up. Well what is a good analogy, I can't think of one either. I had a Glock 23C and planned on using...

    M&P 9 first gun, second gun 1911...???

At the once yearly mfg gun shooter show I came across the S&W 1911 Pro Series 9mm and loved it. I think that was two years ago and was impressed with it, it was very accurate. There was a used one on here IIRC for $900 w-SH just weeks ago. I did do a search for the 9mm one last week for SAG...

M&P9FS Jammed up & FTFs today at range???

You could have a bad striker trigger spring. I'd call up S&W and if that is the problem, have S&W send you one for free if possible. Or you could try this from SSS M&P 9/40/357 Extra Power Striker Spring

    Disappointed in PRO SERIES

I agree with your trigger sentiments on the Pro. I think S&W should actually put in some Apex parts to really make it a Pro model. It doesn't warrant the name at all after putting the Apex FSS & Trigger set to 3 lbs. and shooting it in my M&P9L. That trigger, while a different sear than the...

Hey S&W, I want an M&P 22 Pistol made here.

Well you could always wait for the Apex Tactical M&P 22lr conversion. That'd be made in the USA and you could use the same trigger as your current M&P. I'd pick your M&P with the Comp AEK system or the FSS & Trigger if you have them. Don't know if it'll work on the M&P Compacts though. I've...
