    Got Improved I-frame .32 in a trade

Agree with H. Richard. The grips on my post war 32 HE left my pinkie hanging out in the air. My S&W dealer recommended getting a set of J frame grips. They fit my HE perfectly and even go on with a slight snapping sound. Pete

    Does anyone carry 32's?

Not for self defense but for woods loafing I carry a Ruger SS in .32 Mag. The biggest thing I'm liable to see is a Coyote or wild dog. Two legged critters I have something bigger. Mod. 29 44 Mag. Pete

    38 Special CTG??

Cajun bass, I think your missing my point. I think it was Pavlov who ran some experiments where he fed dogs and rang a bell at the same time. Soon all the dogs came running at just the sound of the bell. So why do people complain when someone hijacks a thread and someone else complains about...

    38 Special CTG??

I'm getting quite a charge out of someone hijacking a thread and then someone says they ought to start a new thread but then goes ahead and answers the question. Seems to me that's like trying to train a dog to do his business outside, but when he doesn't gives it a treat and says "Good Dog!" Pete

    A group for 32 lovers?

I suppose I might have to join this elite group of rabble rousers as I own 5 32 caliber revolvers. Two S&W .32 longs, one S&W 32 Mag., one 32 Mag. Ruger SS, and a Colt 32/20. If you haven't already seen it take a look at my thread in the S&W Hand Ejector 1896 to 1961 titled " .32 long CTG HE"...

    32 Long CTG HE

Hondo44, It's not "perfect". It has one little rust spot under the front of the trigger. You have to cock the gun in order to see it. It's going to be a shooter so no problem. I'm a fan of the .32 long and mag. Got four of them. Three Smiths and one Ruger SS. And the box is not numbered to the...

    32 Long CTG HE

Hondo44, WOW!! I'm going to have to print your reply off so I can read it over several times. You've given me more info than I expected to get, and for that I certainly want to thank you for taking the time to post it. To all the others who also chimed in I'd also like to thank you for your...

    32 Long CTG HE

Jack, What your saying about the 5th screw is what my FFL said when I picked it. I studied up on it a little in the SCSW while waiting to get it, but all I did was get confused. Hoping someone can clear it up or maybe I should send in for a letter if it's an oddball. Thanks for your reply. Pete

    32 Long CTG HE

Just picked it up this morning and looking for a little help on the above. Not exactly sure where it would fall. Serial # is 604307. Blued. 3 1/4" pinned barrel. 5 screw with the coil spring. Barrel, cylinder, frame, and stock numbers all match. Half moon front sight. Logo on left side. Tried...

    S&W Classics

When I first got mine last week my hand would start shaking from the effort to shoot it DA. SA was OK. Both have smoothed up a little after 50 rds. Hand doesn't shake with DA now. Pete

    S&W M29 44magnum owners?

Dr505, Your right about sarcasm. I figured when I put in the word "hysterical" everyone would get the sarcasm. I have absolutely no idea what the dash # was on Harry's 29 was. Just kind of curious. Pete
