    38 wadcutters

    Lyman 358432 style wadcutters are my favorite. No hollow base to worry about breaking, and you can load them to regular powder levels. NOE made a modern copy, might be able to snag one before he closes up shop. Accurate makes a scaled up 44 version, they hit steel like a freight train.

    38 special brass- what brand do you like by best? Any to avoid?

    Bulk once fired and range scrounged brass works for me. Wet tumble it, sort it for cracks and defects, and reload away.

    Speer 158 LSWC anyone

    Someone gave me a few thousand of them back about a year ago. They were promptly thrown into the lead pot and remelted into decent bullets. After whatever kind of funky lube they use burned off, they made very nice shiny boolits. I know people have shot millions of them over the years...

    38 special148 gr. lead wadcutters

    I cast dewc with an MP mold. Size and use homemade lube (beeswax, lanolin, petroleum jelly, and a crayon) through a Star sizer. Crimp on the crimp groove. Charge it with whatever powder performs well. And if I dont power stroke my Rossi 92, it will feed them just fine, in addition to putting...
