Not sure why everyone insists on being rude instead of helpful. If you don't know its called an x-grip you cant do research on a forum or google. What you are looking for is the x-grip. IT allows you to put a 17 round full size m&P 9mm mag into your 9c. Pretty sweet too, I have 4 of them...

I have them on my Shield, I didn't install them myself but had my gunsmith put them on. He said they were really tight to get the front on, took a good amount of force. He also said getting the old front sight off was hard too. I guess its common though, the other shields he moved sights on...

I use the sheath for my Buck Omni Hunter 4" knife. It holds the 11 round mag with flat base plate for my 9c perfectly. Also I can wear it horizontally which I like. I know you said M&P though so this may be of little help to you. Tim
