I prefer the 4.5 inch model just to have a longer sight radius for longer shots.

So I bought the VTAC. I love the sights. Speaking of sights, they are much taller than the standard sights. What's a good holster with a generous sight channel? I'm thinking of a Safariland ALS.

People are trained differently, especially LEA's. We are trained on using the weapons reset and that is what I look for in a carry weapon. YMMV.

So, has the 45 and 45C been updated.

I'm hearing the newer Shield trigger reset is being utilized in the M&P line but I have not heard anything for the 45 or 45C. Have they put the newer trigger in the 45 and 45C yet? If not, do they plan on doing so? I ask because my next purchase will be a compact 45 and the 45C fits the bill...

How does it compare to the Sig P210.

I was considering picking up a Sig P210 or a S&W 952-2. Performance wise, I believe they are the same. I decided on the 952 because the availabilty of mags and other accessories. Now my problem is, should I get the 5 inch or the longslide 6 inch?
