    Model 19

Good, now you are starting to earn that work of art. I love mine. To me it is one of the most finally balanced revolvers ever made. It just point beautifully and the workmanship on the old Smiths is just awesome.

    Model 19

I still hate you Fred, yes it is me from the other forum. If you have a Cabela's near-by they put the PMC 158 gr JSP mag ammo on sale for around $20 to $22 a box of 50 every now and then. I stock up on it when it is on sale. It has been very accurate in my 19-3 and my GP100. I will be trying...

    What do you carry?

LC9 most of the time. In the colder months Glock 20C or M&P 357. The right holster makes all the difference.

    FYI M&P .22compacts $329 at Dunhams

My LGS has the M&P22 Compact Threaded for $299.00. I don't know anything about the 22's. I love my M&P357. Would you recommend the pistol?

    M&P 357 sig

I have an M&P 357 full sized and it is one of my favorites, I really like the 357 stamped on the slide as most people don't have clue that S&W made one. It is in my winter carry rotation and carries well when I have a coat on. It is a bit expensive to shoot but I love it. I thought about...

Thank you to all, this is what I wanted to find out. Now that I have some good info I will stick with mainly 38 sp to practice with and continue to use my 158 gr JSP for HD.

Why 158 gr bullets in my Model 19-3

Quick question for you all, why is everyone recommending that I use 158 gr bullets in my Model 19. Is there an issues with using 125 gr bullets?

The Most interesting places you have seen a dog-OR cat?

Was this in the Dalla area? There is a guy with an old military BMW with a sidecar and a huge black Great Dane riding in it.

    My new slightly used 19-3

I have removed the stock grips, they are currently wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box labeled do not throw away. The grips are the originals to the gun. I shot it today with the Houge Mono grips and boy what a difference. Still was a bit stout, but much more controllable and and quicker to...

    My new slightly used 19-3

Thanks for the information, I have a ton of PMC 158gr JSP 357 ammo. Thinking about getting some 38 158 SWC to play with.

first impressions on my CZ 75

I have owned a CZ75BD Police for over 2 years. It is one of my winter carry pistols. Currently I use an Alienware OWB holster when I carry it. The holster works but I normally prefer leather, I am kinda old school. With a jacket it conceals very well. The pistol is extremely accurate and I...

    My new slightly used 19-3

I always clean after I get home from the range. I have just never used 38's in my 357's. I currently have a Ruger GP100, and I used to have a Dan Wesson 15 VH.

    My new slightly used 19-3

Thankyou both for your replies, I appreciate your help. OldChief do you have any issues with fouling in the chambers when using 38?

    My new slightly used 19-3

Here is quick picture of the 19-3 I picked up on Thursday. I still hate the factory grips so I swapped them out. I ran 24 round of 158 gr JSP through it and think I want to find a lighter load for practice. Any recommendations? Overall, trigger is great in both SA and DA. Ballance, again...
