Well during this time when they are selling 450-525, 389 is decent! Supply and demand , maybe 3 years from now when people are overstocked and can't sell them maybe it be lower but I doubt it.

I ve been waiting for my NY LE dealer to get the shields in, he said possibly night sights and 3 mags . He called me today and he got some in stock, but unfortunately no LE package with the nite sites, mags or without the external safety, he said he doesn't know why and doesn't know if smith...

I was told by my LE rep from smith that there will be one. But didn't know what configuration. If u call customer service they will say no, but if u call any smith and Wesson LE rep they say yes!

I think I got a great price! I got my 442 with no lock, brand new from gunbroker for,$305 plus $25 shipping and $25 ffl transfer fee, total out the door $355! I couldn't believe, gun shops around me wanted $400 and up plus tax and they are all of stock! Why is this gun so hard to get? I lucked...

I got a new 442-1 , no internal lock, it is stamped that it shoots 38 plus p also. Is there a regular 442 and or A 442-2 also? What are the difference in model #s? My serial # is CSP5**** On the yellow envelope with the spent round it has a date of 02/2012, is my gun the latest and newest...

I see. When I called the LE rep for smith, they said yes to a LE model in July, maybe he just assumed? Oh well, it would be nice if they offered ,if not at least a LE price!

Any word on the LE version of shield yet? They said July! Few weeks more! I hope!

Anybody know if the law enforcement model of the shield is coming out? Maybe they will have it with 3 mags, nite sites and no safety! I called a s&w LE distributor. They told me by july a LE model will be out but will not reveal the specs.
