    Buying on-line

...I thought the topic was buying guns unhandled & unseen online. aren't you skewing the topic?

    Buying on-line

no. I'll throw-in my answer before I read the comments. the feel is everything. I held a .357 rental revolver at an indoor range that felt like a quart bottle of Brew 102. I've held a 1911 that made 'slab-sided' sound sexy. as much as you might like to, you can't buy shoes or sunglasses...

If You Could Only Own One Smith & Wesson… What Would It Be?

586 4" thar ain't nothin you can't say that don't vitiate my point, bucko.

Trends You Simply Can't Stand...Feel Free To Vent Here

("Once again, that is my opinion. You have yours, and I have mine.") dude, you missed his point. if you desire to insult others, that's fine. but to inadvertently insult others because your level of awareness is too low to allow for consideration of such things is a shame.

    Musings on the M1 carbine

love the M1 carbine (carBEEN); dad had one in WWII in Germany as a tech sgt with a repair squad; I got him one at a pawn shop for Fathers' Day one year, supposedly had served in the Philippines. at 6'3, dad held it with one hand. geez, it's purpled and pitted, the metallic upper add-on flies...

    Caje's observation O D Day

are you really reporting that people are clamoring for 'Gulf of Muh HEE kah?' are you arguing in opposition to Trump's geo-strategic goals for America, like using Greenland? and while we're conjuring, let's conjure up the mosquito-ish infestation of beach hawkers to torture you on your...

    Use/overuse of the word Amazing

adjectives are like women: they offer life's delights, but then they screw it all up. today's reliance on spizzy adjectives reveals the true dark age we're living in, along with admiration for puns (the sign of a hack), and mis-using words like pristine (untouched by human hands), mayhem...

    Observation on Westerns

my dad enjoyed the westerns where the hero used a belt-fed Colt .45.

Walther PPK 32 acp, 2024 model.

hey guys, I read the books in the 7th and 8th grades after Dr. No came out...and I'm pretty certain I recall the armourer said the Smith and Wesson .38 revolver hit like a brick thru a window. he said the skeleton-grip small caliber Baretta was fit 'for a lady's handbag.' I don't remember...

for crying out loud! for about a year the cylinder on my 36-1 has rattled, flopped and even jammed. this left me thinking I better get a new gun...but a few turns of the screw thanks to this listing and my little sweetie's tight as ever!

    S.D. Myers Chief’s Special Holster

(cue: Twilight Zone music: Boo BEE Boo bee) you've entered a very unique place in the world, a place where people discuss buying a Colt revolver in order to fit a holster! now I've just wandered in here and you can feel fit to pretend to ignore me. everybody does. my question is: who would...

    why "non-fluted"?

isn't part of using a speed loader indexing on the flute to shove the reloads in without looking? and wouldn't a fluteless prevent this? my .22 Ruger uses unfluted for the .22 mag rounds, mainly for safe distinction, I assume.

    Current Ammunition Situation

oh I hope so. I'm a wheel gun man, and somehow there's a box of 50 357 SIG in my safe. every time I open the door I'm embarrassed, shatterpated, and humulgomated. what to do? guess I'll save it for barter purposes. out here in the inland empire.

    Holy Grail Chiefs Special?

once again I sing a love song to my 36-1 with the 3" barrel, square butt, with the t-grip. the target hammer and the target trigger shred, slice, dice, and boy do they catch fish!
