Bad Experience w/the 632 Ultimate Carry

Thanks for the update. I'm still thinking of an Airweight, and the recoil of the 32Mag sounds easier for arthritis that has become bad enough. When we return home, I'll check both of my LGSs thst had UCs on display. We'll see....

New No Lock Model 36-11 - Arrived

The OP’s M36 looks good, and I am real happy to see they are available now. But, the second M36, owe…. Where are these new revolvers being made? And, if this is new employees, then what is their problem? I really want a blued 2” M36, and new versions should have factory support (which we...

Pachmayr Compac Pro J frame discontinued, apparently

FWIW, the standard Compacs cover the backstrap. The Compac Pro is smaller because it does NOT cover the backstrap. The pics here show this, if anyone didn’t know.

    908 Finish

What Brian posted above. Otherwise, FWIW: I bought my blued 908 when they first arrived in my part of CA. Long before the stainless version was made. Hardchroming the slide fixed the rusting (I sweat in those hot summers). I’ve never worried about finish wear of the frame. Replacing the...

Was the "Value Series" the zenith of S&W metal frame pistols?

LOL, wow!!! I bought my blued 908 as a backup, when I didn’t want to save for the sweet 3913. Which would have cost less, after hard chroming the slide (rust pits from me sweating in summer heat) and paying the extra cost of special night sights (those factory plastic sights). And a steel...

    CSX Performance Center availability?

I don’t know, I’ve watched plenty of positive reviews on you tube. One shows the cause of that reset thing found in the early pistols, and how it should be fixable. I understand the later pistols don’t have that glitch, and mine doesn’t. My trigger is fine; not a good 1911 or K frame trigger...

Gen 3’s are Coming back !

An alloy framed 4 1/4” TDA in 45ACP, fitting existing 1911 holsters, 12/13 rounds per mag, would be terrific. Single action could also work. I expect changes from the 3rd Gen models. Wait and see.

    5906 15rd PC Mags

FWIW, my 4” DPA came with ten rounders, and my 5” PPC came with 15 rounders. All had the extended PC bumper pads. ….

I’m heartbroken - 18DAI has left the building

18DAI, John, you will definitely be remembered. Appears you were active right up to the end, and had a heck of a life. Went out “with your boots on” so to speak. Our best, blessings, and condolences to your family; they can be proud of you. His contributions, I don’t know about elsewhere...

I’m heartbroken - 18DAI has left the building

He is missed, but he is remembered as well. Our best and condolences to his family. He shared a lot of great info on the 3rd Gens, that I haven’t found anywhere else, and was always ready to help with any questions.
