I got a galco Miami classic lite for the shield and have tried ccing it. It does print somewhat awkwardly under a medium-thick button down collared shirt but as long as you keep your arms to your sides, refrain from crossing your arms or bending over, it can be made less obvious by not tucking...

I don't know if things have changed since I bought mine, but the grips were super slippery so I bought a talon grips wrap and now it's great.

Sorry if this seems dumb and insulting, but if you've already lubed up the gun, have you smacked the bottom of the magazine a couple times to make sure it's fully seated in the gun?

First make sure the gun had no ammo in it and keep it pointed in a safe direction. There's a yellow sear disconnect lever you need to push down inside towards the top of your magazine well or you can pull the trigger. The stiff springs in the shield are quite well known. They loosen up a bit...

The slide stop is more of a slide stop and less of a slide release. I've given up and just pull the slide back to release it now. Perhaps you could buy a looser spring but yea, the factory spring is stiff and doesn't really loosen up within the first 600+ rounds.

I don't have an m&p9, (I have a shield), but does that yellow lever thing next to the ramp look out of place or is that normal? It looks like the sear deactivation lever in my shield but my lever isn't located there. It's also not in Bob's picture.
