I have a 1936 standard not deluxe model in very good condition, serial number 619. It has a very small compass imbedded in the stock which adds to the appeal to me.
I have an Army & Navy purchased revolver that was private purchase by a British officer. Serial #44XX Webley No. 2 .450 made 1883. I have a copy of the log book page stating the officer's name.
I had a 22 revolver that I bought new in 1981. I paid $36.00 for it in a restaurant that had an FFL. I called it a "click-boom." There was an equal likelihood that it would misfire (click) as it would fire. I actually destroyed it to avoid some kind of disaster.
RPG, I have come to the same conclusion. None were on my "list" which is rather short these days. I agree that they all are fine guns but paying (in my mind) full retail is not wise. Thanks all...

1. S&W used 17-6, 4" barrel, with box and papers. Knowing him I would guess very...
I have come to the conclusion that it is OK if I carry, shoot, whatever even a gun in excellent condition. If it is not highly collectible how much could it depreciate by a little holster wear, etc.? In the long run to me, life is short, enjoy it.
