    I also have been shooting 124gr JHP Fiocchi out of my Shield with no issues. Have heard complaints about the cheaper Fiocchi FMJ target ammo but never used it myself.

    M&P piston rifle?

    Maybe slow sales? (Pure speculation.) I think the piston parts were Adams Arms so that probably added to the cost. Certainly don't see many in the wild.

    S&W does not sell a pro version of the Shield. However, I have no doubt they have made revisions since the introduction of the Shield. To identify the most recent version, look for a black box.     They sell a soft single rifle case with M&P logo embroidered on it for $40. Use it to transport my M&P Sport. Amazing case for $40. Just thought I would mention that.

    Distributed by TulaAmmo. But it is actually produced by Fiocchi to my knowledge. And Fiocchi is GTG.
