I bought a walnut presentation case made to my dimensions from Hampels Woodland Products, Handmade wood cases. Ordered without hasps and with a satin lacquer finish. Cost was only $38 + $8 shipping.
I made the display tray using 3/4" pine and heavy felt applied with M77 spray adhesive. I added the screwed-in corner reinforcements.
This is the second case I ordered from Hampel's. The first one came unfinished and I applied an oil finish to it.
