IMO you can't go wrong with a genuine Colt. Their quality is very good nowadays and the stainless Commander feels and shoots good. Tell us how it shoots for you. Charlie

I would like to see the open carry in Texas though I'm not sure that I would do so myself. I'm just happy to be able to legally carry at all. Probably we will be able to have OC sometime in the future though. Charlie

Automatic (switchblades) are legal in Texas now. I'd go with a good quality automatic just for the fun and handiness of it. Of course I carry a two hand opening SAK that I've had for more than 20 years now. Maybe I'm a hypocrite. Charlie
