I am wanting to install some optics on a 29-8 performance center 44. On the top of barrel is a piece held on with 4 screws. But there are no grooves on for mount. Is this just a protector for the screw holes? Thanks in advance. I can't find any schematics showing this part

I also acquired a model 36 serial no. J80xxx the gun is blued and in very nice condition but it also has Herrett grips. Would you guys be please help with mfg ,value etc. thanks ranger2283

By the way,on the right hand corner of the grip frame there is a N stamped in frame. It is to the right of serial no. Thanks

I recently purchased a 19-3 , I got it from the person who bought it from dealer new. It is in perfect condition and appears to be stainless but I am told they did not make a stainless 19-3 with 2.5 in barrel. I am trying to find out the age/mfg date . The frame is stamped 19-3 and the swing out...
