Does anyone know if a .22 mag was ever made with this configuration? I believe it would be a model 48. 4" full lug barrel? I'd love to have a mate to this revolver in 22 magnum.

I just picked this model 17-6 up. 4" barrel with a full under lug. Looks like a 686 except in .22 lr. The grain in the grip is incredible. Does anyone know much about these? When they were made? Were they a special run? Thanks for the help.
