    S&W Model 10-10 .....Wow !

I failed to land this one off GunBroker.com a few years back, and have regretted it ever since. 200623DS04 - Google Photos

One of my favorite "H" frames

After decades of following S&W revolvers, I only learned of this recently: J-small frame carbon E-small frame stainless K-medium frame carbon F-medium frame stainless L-medium frame carbon H-medium frame stainless N-large frame carbon G-large frame stainless

New 629-6 problems - good info inside

I recently sent a revolver back to S&W for a refinish, and asked that they remove the laser etched logo altogether -- and surprisingly, they agreed to. Had they refused, my "Plan B" would have been to ask them to roll stamp it instead. So congrats on even thinking to ask them; looks like you...

The "classic" model 10 still has the flat spot on the bottom of the forcing cone.

Sights for a Lew Horton 60-7 Pc?

I also would like to know this. I have a 19 K-comp and the tritium front sight is dead. I emailed Smith & Wesson, but they gave me no information except offering to have me send the gun in.

Yes. Have papers, breezes will blow.

    Been feeling blue lately...

I'll take the one on the end. That would be the right end, the left end, the second from the end, or the one that ended up in the middle. Thank you.

Are any S&W revolvers currently made w/o locks?

The agreement didn't stop Smith & Wesson from ditching the 10-round magazine limit.

Are any S&W revolvers currently made w/o locks?

It's an interesting idea. More realistically, I've often wondered if a distributor could have a batch of no-lock guns produced, since the stupid agreement is obviously dead as a doornail, legally speaking.

To Shoot or not shoot your collection grade fire arms.

Been waiting for someone to post a pic of one of those S&W dummy salesman's sample revolvers, but...close enough.

    GUN PORN!

I'm also considering the new 19, based on my recent experience with a new model 10. The finish and feel of the 10 was excellent right out of the box. After a few thousand dry-fires, the action is at least as smooth as my pre-lock K-comp or 13 Performance Center revolvers--and lighter. I am...

To Shoot or not shoot your collection grade fire arms.

What is a 19-3RS, and is that a 3-inch barrel and fixed sights? It looks old and bad-*** whatever it is.

Any Wheel Guns in the Holster's of LEO's today.

All in all, the tendency of every walk of this society, to forsake what works, to abandon what is time-tested and true, in favor of the bright shiny object, the flash of the moment, the flavor of the day, is just stunning, absolutely stunning. And not in a good way.

    Ladysmith

Between the 65s, the Ladysmith has different grips, matte finish, the full underlug barrel and a larger size yoke retaining screw (according to a gunsmith who worked on my 65 Ladysmith). I have never heard of any "trigger job" distinction. I, too, wish to know the full extent of differences...

New un fired model 29-2 look at it or shoot it?

Don't shoot it for now, you can always change your mind later. Unless you shoot it. Then you can't change your mind later.
