I read a thread awhile ago about the same thing and the answer was to call up s&w and they will send them out. I don't know of anyone who sells them separately at this point

hdfergie10 is correct. The trigger itself is a huge improvement. They also ditched the "beaver tail" on the back and extended the steel frame farther toward the front for more rigidity. All the mags between the "first gen" and the 2.0 will work in either gun as well

If you would have bought one 6 months ago you could have picked it up for $224 and got the summer rebate. Now $319 is about the best price out there.

I turned mine in in June as well. It took them 4 months just to update their website showing my valid submission even though the website says the entry was validated in September. The shipping date is still blank and so here I sit. Im just waiting it out and maybe ill get it just in time for...

Yes technically you always have to report sales tax when purchasing something online that doesn't charge it during the original purchase process. However this is impossible to monitor and enforce so most people leave it alone and if its not collected at the time of purchase it falls by the wayside.

I completely agree with supporting your LGS, but where I live, they are usually hundreds of dollars over a price I can get online and are not willing to price match or even negotiate so I'd rather have a gun, a holster, and maybe some extra mags for the same price as just the gun from my LGS.

I guess it depends on your ffl. Mine charges $10 and it usually arrives within a couple days from ordering it online. So $449.99 out the door is still better than any LGS can offer even if I have to wait 3 days.
