I have seen Smith & Wesson M&P 45 and Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0. What is the difference ??? And do they take the same mags ???

I was under the impression that the 2.0 is just the latest version of the M&P. They say the trigger pull is improved is one of the big pluses on the 2.0

hdfergie10 is correct. The trigger itself is a huge improvement. They also ditched the "beaver tail" on the back and extended the steel frame farther toward the front for more rigidity. All the mags between the "first gen" and the 2.0 will work in either gun as well
 
M&P 2.0 is a model designation for the latest updates to the M&P line of pistols in different configurations and calibers.

M&P 45 is one of the M&P pistols in .45 ACP caliber.
 
I like the new grip texture as well...I have a Shield 45, which has the improved trigger and grip as do the 2.0 models.
