Cabela's is needing $8.49 for MiniMag HP's and $4.99 for SV in 50pk. Local WalMarts have been getting pretty big weekly shipments at $7.47 for MiniMag HP's. Other LGS have SV's for $5.99.

With a user name like yours I would think you would already know. Besides that if you could post here why not just ask the "vendor" they would know for sure.

The "asking price" and the "selling price" are two very different things. Look at the 100's of listings for .22LR that are not selling with stupid asking prices.

The beauty of it is if you are the original buyer and sent your warranty paper in your M&P15-22 is warrantied for LIFE! If in doubt email S&W and get it back to them. When I had my OOB and blew out my extractor and parts off I had my rifle back within 2 weeks of shipping it off to them.

Looking at your picture in the 3rd picture with the 2 cases side by side the one case is rather bloated in front of the rim. Then in the 2nd to last picture it looks like a number of rounds are expanded in front of the rim. I am no expert but it looks like the gun is not going to full battery...

I guess I am a little lost now. Being this is the Smith&Wesson site and this is the M&P15-22 subforum I assumed the OP was talking about the best round for hunting with a 15-22. Is this still the case or did I miss where the OP stated what firearm they are using?

My 15-22 has the blue bolt spring. It blew up on the 2nd or 3rd round of either Stingers or Velocitors I put through it not realizing hyper-velocity rounds are a no no in the 15-22.

Well it's not a tactical case by any means but it holds my rifle, 3 mags, my fore grip, 2 100 pks of CCI ammo and my shooting glasses. I made it after seeing some others like it online. I didn't like walking in and out of my apartment with my "gun case" so I made this. Just looks like a dude...

I would avoid the Stinger and Velocitor in the MP15-22 or any other hot hyper velocity round. You will be saying good bye to your extractor, plunger and spring in short notice if you do. just my 2cents worth.

It's interesting how regional the shortage is becoming. Here in the Charlotte NC area every Gander, Academy Sports and gun store have .22lr in some form. I am now seeing bricks of ammo on shelves now. One LGS even is running ads on the radio for .22LR ammo.

Your explanation from S&W was the same as mine. My extractor, plunger and spring all were KABOOMED from my 15-22 as well just a month or so ago. I emailed them. They emailed a shipping label. I knew from reading the forums they would take care of it or contact me f I was going to have to pay...

ScrapMaster, If you are the original owner of the gun it is warrantied for life as stated in the manual on the M&P line of rifles. S&W will take care of your gun and have it back to you in a week or two. I had the same problem with my MP15-22. I blew the extractor, plunger and spring off the...
