    Traditional knives…

My version is D2 with the yellow scales. Love it but took a bit of work to get it sharp. IIRC Queen shipped there knives with pretty dull edges or perhaps it was just my example but once I had it profiled it was good to go.

    Traditional knives…

I’m a long time slipjoint fan be it Buck 300 and 700 series, GEC, Queen Cutlery, S&M, etc. Never been a big Case fan though I do have a few. Favorite patterns are stockman and sodbuster.

    Model 49 info - value

My favorite J frames are the M38 and M49. As noted it might clean up fairly well. If it’s ok mechanically I’d bring it home for $300 but no higher.

    LPVO recommendations ?

Looking for an optic for my DD5 V1 in 7.62x51. Two hundred yards is the max distance at my club. This is just a range too so don’t really see the need to go too tactical. Considering one of the Vortex offerings with their cantilever mount. Something in the 1x6 or perhaps 1x8. Like to keep it...

Anyone get a daily "news" paper delivered?

Dropped our local rag decades ago. They used to give out free copies at the grocery store. If I had a parrot I’d have grabbed one.

    check your tax liability

Regardless of who does or doesn’t “benefit”, any time any American either keeps more of their earnings or has less confiscated by the government is a win IMHO. I’ll never understand why the amount someone earns determines how much they are allowed to keep?

    What's The Dirtiest 22 Ammo?

I’ll second Remington Thunderbolt as the overall worst ammo dirty or not that I’ve tried.

    Two Firefighters Murdered in Idaho

Wondering if perhaps the shooter failed out of a fire fighting academy or couldn’t pass some initial requirements and felt slighted from his dream job?

    Ethical Question

Since there has been no clarification provided I’ll go out on a very short limb and suggest Israel/IDF based on other posts by the OP.

    What Constitutes "Reasonable Preparedness" ?

“Reasonable Preparedness “ sounds a little like “common sense gun laws”. You’re either prepared or you’re not.
