I'm replacing the front sight on a S&W 910. How do you guys push it into the dovetail w/o mashing the sharp plastic sight edges? Sight is the factory plastic with metal insert in it. I was trying to adjust the original one back to center and I broke it. They don't have a flat spot to push on...

Yup thats how it works, Pressed back together by thumb and works great. Make sure to get tapered coil spring in right direction otherwise you'll only have half the travel and it won't release mag. rj

Tracer_Bullet, you were right. I layed the frame on it's side and with punch and hammer it poped out with one hit , didn't brake anything so I think I can just reasemble and pop it back together. Thanks, rj

Thanks fellas. Look at a pic of a 910 on gun broker and you'll see that they don't have the spring and plunger by the release button that the others do. The button spins freely but doesnt unscrew. Now what ???? rj

How do you take out the mag release push button ? Stripping frame to refinish it and can't figure out how to take out the button. Thanks, rj

I picked up a 17-something. 6" barrel , 10 shot , aluminum cylinder. So far very accurate and nice gun. Was wondering how the aluminum cylinders are holding up for everybody? Both my s&W 22's are alum cyl. 317 & 17-8 I think .rj

Yup ,theres just a "T3" inside the T-grip. Guess I bought the wrong one. I think it's an old one as it has written on the outside "Tyler's -GRIP OKL A CITY 14". wonder if 14 was the zip code back then? rj
