One thing I noticed though, the time on the posts are about 20 hours behind the actual time. For example: the time shown on the post I quoted is 01:30 am while the actual time is 21:30 or 11:30 pm. Bob

Mike, I saw that post, but was hoping for a date when mine may have been manufactured. Also, would it be worthwhile to have the pistol "re-blued"? I assume the light rust would be removed, and the pistol returned to nearly new condition. Thanks, Bob

Newbe here. Just found this site after I remembered a S&W pistol I inherited from my grandparents. Stamped on the barrel is 32 LONG CTG. The barrel is approximately 3.25 inches long. The serial number is 184754. It is not in the best shape as you can see in the attached photographs...
