AFT pistol stabilizing brace rule just came down.

I thought you could remove (destroy?) the brace and be legal? It's still a pistol. What am I missing? Or is there something about "trigger pull", which I think they are referring to distance between trigger and rear of pistol.

Who else is caught in the pistol arm brace fiasco?

Very nice. Is that an original case? It looks old but really clean. Either way, very nice set. Your luger pic just made me realize I've got a 1920's Stevens SBR.

Who else is caught in the pistol arm brace fiasco?

Here is some historical info on SBR's from Ian of Forgotten Weapons. He knows his stuff on vintage and antique weapon history. Interesting video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsE0naVApPU

AFT pistol stabilizing brace rule just came down.

Agreed. It will be legally challenged. And while that is going on there will be massive non-compliance. But I guess I'll have to remove the AR pistol from under my back seat till this blows over.

    Obnoxious “Kid” Carrying In/At Waldmartan

Yeah, but I never leave it in my truck. What they don't know won't hurt them. Look up the vid "Never rob a Texas Post Office". An interesting (but graphic though) concealed carry vid.

Did my gunsmith break my 15-22 Pistol

Not sure what your suggesting? Do nothing? He should fix it himself and hope for the best? The gun is damaged, small claims is the perfect place to obtain a remedy. His would be an easy win. I've done it hundreds of times over the years.

Did my gunsmith break my 15-22 Pistol

Not really. Depends on the circumstances. If the "gunsmith" is any type of real business, he'll most likely just pay the $500 pistol cost rather then have to spend time going to small claims.

Did my gunsmith break my 15-22 Pistol

I'd want a new pistol. The "gunsmith" did the damage, and maybe other hidden damage. No way I would want to keep a possibly damaged weapon. If the "gunsmith" is any type of real business, he'll most likely just pay the $500 pistol cost rather then have to spend time going to small claims.

Did my gunsmith break my 15-22 Pistol

This is absolutely the best advice. The cost of the pistol will be under Small Claims max dollar amounts. Add in your travel and mileage for the 3 round trips, pistol purchase reciept, repair invoice. Go super prepared, 8x10 pictures, convo transcripts, etc. everything. You'll win and...

    open carry in your area?

Matt Dillion never hid his weapon. I oc and cc both. And I have no concerns what others prefer to do. But If you think I'm odd for oc, I think you're odd for thinking that way. It's legal (here in PA) and that's that. And I don't buy into the "it's dangerous" schtick either. It's...

    m&p-15-.22lr pistol,are it's days numbered?

mohave - Thank you for your service. The arm brace was mentioned by the AG in a press conference about 2 months ago. So they certainly have it in their sights. But I suggest you keep your pistol, keep all your firearms, and buy more ammo. At this point and time in history, I think...

Position of New Extractor & the Ejector?

Hello All - This is my first non-antique S&W. Just got this 15-22P and had tons of FTE issues at the range first time. Every 2 - 4 rounds jammed. While shooting, a small spring fell out on the table. I took the gun home and took it apart to find that the extractor, plunger pin and...
