How can you tell if it was a FBI gun? Do you have to get a letter from S&W? I purchased mine years ago from a dealer at a gunshow who said they were FBI trade in refurbs. Thanks.

There was nothing wrong with my G34. I got it thinking it would be different than my older G17. I could not tell enough difference between the two to own both.

I am a newbie to the M&P line of pistols and hope I'm not beating a dead horse here but.... I am wanting a pistol to start some IDPA shooting. I have ditched my G34 and have narrowed it down to trying the full size M&P. I need help deciding if its worth the extra money to go with the Pro model...
