    MP 15 for hunting

Came from Lonestar Taticial, Was 99.00 for kit, no shipping. I got 18650 battery, battery charger, extra mount, and light. Rated at 300 lumens. Just on and off operation . I believe in keeping it simple. Don't know how it's done but light casts a perfectly round less concentrated green beam for...

    MP 15 for hunting

Well, recoil / flash reducer is installed. Green predator light came in.Trouble installing in under barrel mount I had previously purchased and installed. This Orion light is speced at one inch tube diameter. Thing is the end cap uses an o ring for water proofing so threads are on outside of...

    MP 15 for hunting

I have a green light flashlight that is claimed to light up out to 200 yards. Has four brightness levels. Five inches long and will fit my under barrel mount. Biggest hogs come out at night. They are too smart to show themselves in daylight, {just like deer}.Also will be hunting coyotes on our...

    Scope for prairie dogs

P dog huunting If you are going to limit your shots to 100 yds you must just be going to dabble at it. Not every hole has a couple of P dogs in it. You will find out that it doesn't take long for you to either kill the 100 yard ones, or the ones you missed will not come out. Stick gwith 40...

    MP 15 for hunting

I have found and installed the predator light holder. The light itself has been shipped along with a recoil reducer. Sims snap on recoil pad is backordered. All that is left is to desipher which trigger will be the right one. Pics when things start to get done.

    MP 15 for hunting

Does anyone besides me plan to hunt with their sport? Am converting mine to a hunter. Might be worthwhile to have a separate section for hunting?

The absolutely best thing to buy to improve the accuracy of your M&P 15.

Well guys, I must say I agree........ up to a point. many of us that are new to a mp15 are not new to shooting. Case in point: I have prolly thrown a milllon rounds downrange shooting competition for the last 25 years. I am sorta over the hill and my eyesight will not allow red dots or irons...

    New Build:

Just a few things to think about. As reference I built a Colt ar 15 back years ago. I don't remember all the name brand stuff I put in it but one thing I do remember: bull barrel custom reamed and chambers for 223 improved. You can form your own brass just by shooting factory rounds in it. Gives...

    Shooting assistance

The first thing you need to do is ask this guy to show you how he hits that target that far away consistently under stated conditions. Don't be too hard on yourself if you fail. Just saw a show on tv of a pro trying to hit man size targets at 400 yards with his carbine. Took him many tries to...

    Nikon P-223 - 3x32 or 3-9x40??

scopes Chuchaco, what kind of accuracy are you talking about. I don't think a 15 sport will shoot one hole at 200 yards, but there are plenty of rifles that will. If you get the accuracy bug and really go after it, the 4X12 is not enough. You have to be able to see your bullet hole in the...

Hog Hammer ammo iin a M15

Hog hammer Here in Georgia there is a WMA that is over run with hogs. So much so that they have spring hog hunts. Four of them in fact. Being familar with the area, I plan on spending some time trying to locate a few. I will surely post pics here if I am successful.

    scope for m15 sport

To preface my experience with scopes let me state that I have shot one form or another of shooting competition for the past forty years. Including benchrest where scope performance is very important. Nor wanting to pay more for a scope than the gun cost, I chose a scope that I have had good...

Hog Hammer ammo iin a M15

I have a 50 yard range here at home. I purchased some of remingtons Hog Hammer ammo and was anxious to try it out. Rifle was sighted in for 55 grain PPU ammo. First thing I noticed was that the Barnes tripple shock bullets in 62 grain weight had a little more kick to it. {Remington claims 3100...

    MP 15 for hunting

Did the velcro . Very tight fit, but the buttstock is still removable although it will take some effort. I have no reason to collapse the buttstock anyway. Quiet as a church mouse when ya shake it now.
