Call me shallow, but I just don't want a Glock based on how ugly they are. :D. In my experience both are excellent shooters but I get better accuracy with my m&p 9, and look a whole lot cooler shooting with it ;).

I absolutely hated my m&p 9 trigger and replaced it with an Apex kit. I will admit to being really jealous of my buddies brand new FNX-9 because the trigger was so damned awesome!

Has anyone got first hand experience with Weaver extensions that allow for mounting a red dot on an m&p 9? I'm looking at the type that connects to the bottom rail, forms around the pistol, and provides a weaver rail along the top. I know leupold makes a red dot that replaces the rear sight...

Just wanted to update ... Got my mags with very quick shipping and they're exactly what I expected. :)

Not saying it's good, but I'm not surprised people are trying to eek out free mags because they are horribly overpriced. I paid $25 for mine but most places are upwards of around $33.

I picked mine up from Express Police Supply (www.ombexpress.com) for under $25 each. Also saw they have the M&P 9 for $399, which is a lot less than what I paid for mine!! :confused:

Agreed, it makes sense to simply practice racking it each time so that I don't have to anticipate a time when it doesn't work automatically.

Oh cr@p, and there I was thinking it was really cool that my slide closed automatically, while my buddies FN-X didn't. Sure is a much quicker mag change when it closes and chambers "by itself" :). Thanks for the response.

I've recently begun experiencing a problem with the breech staying open when I put a mag in. This causes issues with competition shooting because I have to slam the damn mag in for the breech to close automatically and chamber a round, and if that doesn't work I have to waste precious time...

Just picked up my 15-22 today and can't wait to get out on the range. I'm new to the AR platform and anything other than iron sights, so I'm looking for a little advice on what red dot I can get for this. Not sure what will fit and what won't so any help would be appreciated. Oh, and cheap...
