Whenever I take mine to the indoor range. It never fails that one of the range officers will tell me to remove the magazine before I leave the firing line so all shooters can advance forward to change their targets. Our indoor range is somewhat primitive, no automated target trollies.

My vote is for the latter, not the former. I've got a 617 long tube. Great shooter, really like it, but not to the extent I would pay anything near those asking prices for one.

This is exactly the stamping that is on the revolver the seller has for sale. Nice to know what PD it's really associated with.

There is a local seller who wants to sell his Cincinnati PD Model 10, SB, 2" barrel. There is a photo of a stamping on the left frame, just above and to the right of the trigger. This photo shows a circle, looks to be about 3/8" diameter with CPD stamped within the circle. I have no idea if...

Recently traded for a Unertl 20X Target Scope. It's in beautiful condition, complete with recoil spring, end caps. Fine cross hairs., etc. No flaws in the finish. The serial number is 21571. Is there anyway of pinpointing the manufacture date or getting a close approximation of that date...
