M&P 22 Compact barrel thread protector, 11mm What is required would be a very thin 11mm open end wrench. I found an old cheap ignition tool set that had a very thin 7/16 ignition wrench that works but loose. If you aren't going to take the thread protector off and just want it to stay tight...

The thread protector on the end of my barrel keeps coming loose. It takes a very thin 11mm wrench which I don't have and can't find. I have a thin 7/16 that fits loosely but don't want to torque it. Did your M&P 22 compact come with a tool in the box?

I submitted my claim on line 27 September. Guess I have a long time to wait. I called the number on the rebate certificate and they said that I probably won't even see acknowledgement on the Milano site until late November or early Dec. What a way to run a railroad!

Capt Bob, What was the problem that required barrel replacement? Having problems with lead build up in as little as one trip to the range. Is there a recall or something I missed? Please advise.
