Read as many reloading manuals as you can until you know the process. Then practice by making a few dummy rounds. Establish a definite process, follow the process and always inspcect the filled cases before laoding any bullets. A good friend of mine and I were discuessing this the other day...
Think about how many in the box, pre-lock, with factory combats you have seen. $750 may sound a little high but the box and papers are worth $50 to some people and the factory combats are worth $150-200. The net is somewhere around $500. The last prelock I saw, sold for $595 with rubber grips.
Go for it!!!! Even though it is a -1 which ins not quiet as desirable right now but will be. You will have some very nice trading stock. Basides if you get into reloading, you can have a blast with the 41 magnum.

BUY IT!!!!!!, a 3" inch barrel is kinda rare. But it gives you a full stroke to dump the empties. A 2.5' barrel leaves the empties hanging, just a little. The fixed sights are not a problem.

I am posting this information for the benefit of some forum member. I have no interest except to see a fellow forum member find a beautiful revolver. If I had the money, I would be showing pictures of my new purchase.

Yes, I got mine about three weeks ago. Called Smith and they informed they expect several different serial numbers ranges. They are hoping everyone will buy one for second ammendment reasons; which is why I have one.
