Oh, I have "the funds", but, they are in other, more...well, "important" investments right now. And, pulling them from there, and applying them, to, say this investment, might, "might" not be approved, if you know what I mean.
I believe you're mistaken about the pin missing. That looks like the reflection of the light to the right, but it does look like a hole! If you look at the right side pic, you can see the other side of the pin, with the slight knurled (or whatever it's called) around the perimeter.
Nice! Looks just like mine. Never a failure of any kind. One of the two most reliable semi-autos I own. The other being a Beretta 90-two. I got a Hogue rubber grip from a retired cop, worn but still servicable. Much better in the hand than the slim gray plastic one.
There's a small spring thingy that holds the trigger from flopping a tiny bit that tends to break, at least it was broken in the 3913NL of mine, and a 3914 that I used to have. I bought two of them so I could change them both out. They are held in place with a tiny rivet. Truth be told, I didn't...
That looks almost like mine. Mine has a couple less steps on the slide release and safety levers. Right down to the rubber grip. (I do have the original light gray plastic grip).
I bought mine at a gun show, and it included 5 mags!
This gun feels great in the hand, shoots great, is flawless in...

It took me just over 3 months to receive my SA35. $650.00. It was ordered from SA by my LGS on the day SA announced it, (Oct. 25 IIRC) saying they would be shipping on Nov.1. Mine is the first one delivered by my LGS, the first guy on the list didn't answer his phone. Mine was in the first...
where in Colorado did you find yours? I put my name in for one of the first 6 ordered at a shop in Ft. Collins. That was on the day SA announced the gun. Still nothing.
Jeff
By all means, try out the J-frame before you buy one!
I bought one for my wife, she hated it, so I carried it for a while, finally gave up on it. It just didn't point naturally for me. Nasty recoil, although this one was a lightweight one.
We both shoot LCPs, she has no trouble with it, but she...
