    Is that what it's called? I just don't want anything to prevent my firearm from working if I need it to be a weapon. If the gun doesn't go bang when you need it, it's just an expensive club!

    Thanks for the advice folks. I’ve decided to purchase a 686 with 6" barrel. A 1983 vintage, because I prefer guns that don’t have warnings stamped on them, and mechanical devices built into them that would prevent them from working. Thanks again, Tim
