    Guess I Won't Buy a Car Until Oct. 15

I should have locked this thread when it was first posted. It's inherently political and there's way too much controversy. We're not here for that. This is a gun forum focused on S&W. Better late than never: Locked..

    Save Bad Magazines?

I mark bad mags and save them for parts. You never when you'll need a follower, spring or base plate. On second thought, I'm probably not a good person to give advice. We can't get a car in the garage (or even a motorcycle) and our full sized basement is so packed with "stuff", I had to...

Police get a new tool to stop drivers: Beware the Grappler!

It appears most vehicles snagged by the grappler suffer little damage. Ripping the rear axle off took a lot of effort on the part of this miscreant and he was apprehended. It seems like a safer alternative to speed strips or a PIT maneuver. Some jurisdiction restrict high speed pursuits...

    Axe rifle

S&W just started production. Go to the product website page and you'll see a "Where to buy" link. I just looked and only one of their recommended sellers shows availability. Interesting that they're already offering 11.5" and 14.5" variations. I'm suspect that's because of the elimination...

    Electric Fly Swatter Query

Maybe, if you swat 'em hard enough! I have some garage tools for dealing with insects. The electric swatter is really intended for mosquitos. If you hit a fly while holding down the zap button, it will stun but not kill them. If they happened to get caught in the outer wires and you keep the...

    Guess I Won't Buy a Car Until Oct. 15

My grandfather had a Lincoln with suicide doors back in the 60's. Kinda cool, but they called 'em that for a reason. I'm surprised RR brought it back. I also don't understand a battery operated vehicle that's worth as much as a nice home. I don't know who this kid is, but daddy obviously has...

    SBR AK

I can legally have a brace equipped pistol in my vehicle in Michigan because of my CPL. Get caught doing that with an SBR and you're in deep trouble...

    Guess I Won't Buy a Car Until Oct. 15

I saw a Rolls Royce Spectre on the freeway a few months ago. I had to look it up when I got home and discovered It's an EV with suicide doors and a range of up to 264 miles. They can top $400,000 before tariffs. Not for me, but the owner obviously didn't worry about getting a speeding ticket...

Police get a new tool to stop drivers: Beware the Grappler!

That occurred in Livonia MI. We have no fault insurance, so the owners insurance company footed the bill (unless the owner only had PLPD). He could sue the thief for damages, but you can't get blood out of turnip.

    J frame, wood stock, experimentation's

    I agree. They're my favorite for J frames I don't pocket carry.

    Given a holster!

Wow, nice gift! This one sold for $320, without a magazine. WWII Luger mags can bring as much as the holster! https://legacy-collectibles.com/1942-luger-holster-042318

The Air Force Has Completed its Inspection of their SIG M18 Service Pistols

This issue goes back a long time and we've closed half a dozen threads because of bickering snd rudeness... Some people are slow learners. This is the S&W Forum, not the Sig forum. Go there if you want to get chastised and called out in public.

    Crossbow during archery season

Michigan muzzleloader season now allows any legal firearm in the lower peninsula. I can use my .44 Mag in zone 1 and my .30-06 in zone 2. We can't shoot doves, but they did reopen coyote season year round. We have a law that requires scientific game regulations, but our government ignores it...

    National Dog Day

All the dog photos are great! Kudos to the OP... I've really enjoyed this thread. No bickering and no vitrol; just expressions of love and appreciations for companionship and loyalty. The only bad thing about about K9's is they don't live long enough. Some of the finest folks I've ever met...
