Thinking about replacing grips on my Mod 60 357 2 1/8. I have over size finger groove combats on it now but like the look of the boot grip with finger grooves. Are they hard on the hand. Thanks

I have a pre lock Mod 60 2 1/8 " 357. As I get older I like the 357 ammo less and less. What would be a good home defense ammo in +P or 38 special. Thinking a lighter bullet also. Thanks

Load for 15-3 Loaded up some DEWC with 2.7 grs of BE. Shot much better groups and dropped out of cylinder with no help. The 3.5 loads were sticking. Thanks again.

Thanks for the replys. This Mod 15-3 is new to me and I used the same load I used years ago in a K-38 Masterpiece I had, which was 3.5 grs BE and 148gr HBWC. I didn't know if the 2.7 was to light for the DEWC.

I have been shooting my Combat Masterpiece with 148 gr DEWC and 3.5 grs of Bullseye. I see a lot of shooters say 2.7 grs is better. I thought the 3.5 would be better with the solid base bullet. Have a lot of BE to shoot up. Any input. Thanks

I have pre lock Mod 60 357 with 2 1/8" barrel and love it and didn't know if S/W made them at that time with a rear sight also.

I do a lot of skeet shooting so I have Universal, Unique, HS6,and 700X on my bench. I was going to pick up some W231 to try but until then which of what I have would work best? Just getting back into shooting my S&W's again and all I use to shoot was light Bullseye loads.

Is there a good load for 148gr DEWC and Unique for the 38 special. Target shooting at 25 yrds. Thanks

A lot of good information as I load both 38's for my Mod 15 Combat Masterpiece and 38's and 357's for my Mod 60 .357mag J frame. Love this forum!

Bottom line is shooting 38 specials in the 357 makes it harder to clean the cylinder. 357 target load good point. Will the W231 take up more room than Bullseye? Have never used it.
