I was at my local gun shop the other day and noticed a nice model 10-7. Anyone know the year of manufacture for the -7? Also, was that a good year of manufacture for the model 10? I noticed it has a pinned barrel and firing pin on the hammer nose, i like that, just a personal preference.

I've moved on from GEC to Cooper Cutlery slipjoints. They are masterfully crafted, made in America on the old Shatt & Morgan machinery. The fit & finish is first rate and they are beautiful. Here is one in my collection done in abalone.

Would the fde color shade on my m&p 2.0 w/5" barrel be a magpul fde?

The problem is the 10 round mag floor plates are quite different than the 17 round mag floor plates and I don't think there are 10 round ones in the fde color so I'm looking for a paint, cerakote, etc in the correct color to match the frame.

I have a new FDE color 5" M&P 2.0 with two 10 round mags. Unlike the normal 17 round mags the 10 rounders have a different type floor plate and come only in black. I would like to paint the floor plate or maybe the entire mag to match the FDE frame color. Any suggestions? Thanks, Sam

I am also interested in that question, is the S&W Performance Center action job as good as having your gunsmith install the Apex kit? Not asking about price just results. Thanks, Sam
