Definitely a decent belt. I have both Bigfoot belts and good stiff leather. And I don’t use a holster that isn’t specifically for that firearm. Better retention and support.
Well, I can’t compare the two you listed.
But I can compare the S&W SD9VE and the Ruger SR9C.
I have both, the Ruger wins hands down.
Much better trigger, ergonomics are slightly better and felt recoil is less.

A few years back, the SD9VE was one of the better budget pistols.
Heavy trigger but utterly reliable. Retailed about $269 but often on sale for $200. That’s when I got mine. Keeping it stock. No issues.
Now there are many more options at close to the same price point.

It was a nice price when purchased and I like the grip, it works.
I have much better but I see no need to get rid of it.
