Doc,
I bought my blued 29-10 in 2007. I've fired 1000s upon 1000s of rounds through it, everything from specials to full load 200 grn screamers without any drama. It goes to the range with me at least once every week and is certainly one of my favorite guns at this point.
I just bought 3 of them last month, 336SS, 60SS and a 983S all for right around a grand. I had some money hidden that the wife didn't know about.
All of them are stainless steel with really nice wood .. great American made guns!
I received my first order for 1500 bullets today, they look very good and only took 2 days to get here .. great service! ... I ordered another 1000 after I saw the quality and the impressive 2 day shipping ...
Thanks again to the forum members for the web link for Missouri Bullets.
I have an old 586 no dash that I've TRIED to wear out, no chance, I think my arm will fall off first ... I plan on putting several thousand rounds through it again this summer.
I bought this one last year and really like it, I have around 400-500 rounds through it with no problems ...

I bought a new S&W 1911 last fall and couldn't be happier. I feeds and fires everything I put into it including my crappy reloads with excellent accuracy and complete reliabillity..
The first round I ever fired through my 329PD was an old factory Remington 240 grn cartridge. I had the wood grips on the gun and it tore a dime sized chunk of skin from the web of my hand between my thumb and first finger. I put on a glove and finished off the rest of the box. I was in love...
I've got a 10 round 617 that I bought 4-5 years ago. I installed a 14 lb trigger return spring, a light mainspring and an extended C&S firing pin after I completely smoothed and polished all the internals.
A perfect summer afternoon is firing a 1000 rounds through it then spending an hour...
