    M&P 9c w/ RMR build thread

Next I would like to modify the slide with some windows and excreta. This wont happen because I don't know enough about spring rates to compensate for the weight reduction. I most definitely don't want to jeopardize the reliability of any thing I own especially since my family or myself's life...

Yes I do use Loctite on the screws. I've never had any issues with the screws coming loose and I'm +2000 rounds since this post based on my reloading records.

Well I just got back from the range and all went well with sighting in the RMR. 2 clicks to the left was all it took to bring it in at about 10yds. Elevation was right on the money. I was shooting about 1.5-2" right at 7 yds with the front sight and scribed line on the back of the RMR. I need...

For some reason I thought stainless wasn't magnetic. That would explain why my cutting speeds and feeds were in stainless territory. Although the chips coming off didn't resemble it.

Well.... I tried 2 different bluing dyes but neither of them would work. So until I can get it Cerakoted black, I just shot it with some Flat Black Rustoleum primer. (We will see how this holds up) If someone could chime in and let me know why the bluing didn't work I'm all ears. It's not...

    M&P 9c w/ RMR build thread

The C.O.R.E.'s are awesome guns. I the first M&P I ever owned was a 40c. Unfortunately I had to sell it earlier last year to get that 9c. I guess since I'm sort of a muscularity challenged guy (haha) my 4.25" CORE is borderline my limits on what is comfortable to carry. It would be a different...

PART 2 Next comes the .106 drill. I later came back and opened this up larger to get less than 75% thread engagement due to the HRc of the slide. As you can see I made a simple hand sketch to mill out the pocket taking in to account the width of the endmill and where to drill the holes as my...

PART 1 I will apologize ahead of time as all the pictures are taking with an Iphone! :D I just finished a new build & wanted to share it with you guys/gals. Most of the photos were taken with the help of my pops. A big thanks for him letting me use his machine as well! The inspiration for...

Wolff's J and L frame trigger paks!!! Is it worth the money??

No neither are self defense guns, my M&P40c has that duty for me and a S&W 4506 .45 does the job for my wife. As far as the rebound springs I was questioning changing them out because I was worried about miss-fires and whatnot. I called and asked them at Wolff if I did change out the rebound...

Wolff's J and L frame trigger paks!!! Is it worth the money??

Thanks for the info and feedback guys. I'd really like to turn my 686 into a bianchi revolver. Although I never plan on competing in the Bianchi Cup (due to lack of skill) I'd still like to have the work done to it. I just don't know which gunsmith to trust to do the work (ie. like installing...

Wolff's J and L frame trigger paks!!! Is it worth the money??

I have both a 686 and 442 revolver and was wondering if the trigger paks that Wolff sells is worth me buying? The wife and I absolutely hate the heavy trigger pull on 442. I'm hoping that the kit they produce will make a huge difference on this gun. Does anyone know if the Power Rib Shooter's...
