Took it to the range and it was perfect. All is forgiven...

Out of the box the cylinder was binding. Didn't realize it until left the dealer and because of the 30 day between hand gun purchases in CA figured I would get it back before I could have even have gotten the dealer to exchange. I hold no grudge and am a happy guy today...time to go to the range

Seems like it was repaired almost a month ago and was sent back and forth from the shipping room and back to service 3 or 4 times without getting sent out because service didn't include the correct paperwork to ship to a CA dealer. Next time I know to ship it myself to avoid this issue. Thanks...

Ok..they didn't change the law. I put the wrong zipcode for my home address (my po box is in different zip) and they had to start the 10 days over..now got to wait til April 8th to pick up my 686 4 inch.

Its OK in California..got my 617 6 inch about 8 weeks ago and am loving it. Ammo is cheap so you can get a lot of shooting in for a small price.
