    El Paso Saddlery?

A friend I shoot with has several EPS rigs for his Western guns. Top notch quality. So I was in need of a belt holster for my 1911. I wanted one for OWB with a snap strap. I ordered the Strongside Select from EPS. Upon its arrival I was, very underwhelmed. The leather on the strap was thin and...

    The Uberti Schofield

I knew of them, but never saw one in any gun shop in my area. Three years ago, went shooting with a buddy. He brought his two Schofields, both in 45 Colt. After shooting his I became interested. Last year decided to order one from Taylors and Co. They were on back order. Go figure. Well last...

18 rounds - would you clean it?

I just bought a new Les Baer Custom Carry. They recommend shooting 500 -1000 rounds through it before disassembling and cleaning. Im at the 850 round mark, and the withdrawal symptoms are starting to subside.

    S&W Mod. 13-3

In that case , that part of the screw was missing. It was all threads, and looked to have been shortened at some time. Ok so I just ordered a new Yoke Screw from Numrich. We'll start this all over again from scratch.

    LET'S TALK RE-BLUING AND REFINISHING

I bought a S&W Mod. 19-4 when I graduated the academy in 1981. I carried it for about five years before we transitioned to semi auto's. Every day I worked it was exposed to the elements, rain (we didn't cover our guns under the yellow rain coats), salt air from the ocean. Even had a chunk...

    S&W Mod. 13-3

Ok I removed both screws. Both are the same length. The front screw appears to have been shortened (fitted) at some point. So what I did was take out the yoke & cylinder. Clean and lube things. Reassemble and test. Still too much resistance. Removed screw, and using a fine knife sharpening...

    S&W Mod. 13-3

Hi everyone. Question / Concern. I just recently purchased, what appears to be, a barely used, very clean, S&W Mod. 13-3. Inspected it the best I could prior to taking possession. No problems noted. I picked it up after the ten day waiting period Friday. Took it home cleaned it, and noticed...
