Jar of Primers,, these for reloading primers

That little glass jar is like a small grenade if it were to go off!!! I'de separate the primers into smaller lots or better yet put them into modern primer packaging so they are less likely to go off.

    1911 Magazine purchase

I think the problematic g.i. 1911 mags you're thinking about are the rejected or fake Mason-Rust brand ones. Some are packaged in sealed kraft paper wrap. The have what looks like the correct stampings for a g.i. mag with the manufacturer code of "MFR 30745". I got some of the real g.i. ones...

Replacing pinned red ramp sight on a nickel 29-2

You are correct. The new front sight blades will need to be drilled for the pin. Mark the pin hole location from each side with the sight in the front sight slot. Then remove the sight and drill about half way through from each side of the sight so you don't have the hole pop out off center...

    629 Classic Front Sight

I have a 629-4 Classic with the Power Port full lug barrel and it does not have the removeable front sight feature. On some pics of the 629 Classics I looked at on the auction boards, the front face of the front sight base has a hole in it. Is this a common feature on the front sights that are...

Dillon Powder Measure Crank - Old Style

I have seen a thread on the BE Forum (Brian Enos Forum for the unknowing) that showed how to convert the new style to the old style. It didn't look difficult. Edited to add: Couldn't find the old thread on BE but did find a similar one on Snipers Hide...

    Wolf Small Rifle Primers

I'm guessing the difference is like with CCI selling a version they call their "arsenal" primer that has a slightly thicker cup material. It's insurance the floating firing pin in some weapons won't accidentally light off a round. I ordered the standard primers and don't feel there will be an...
