    My Shield .40 was the same way. The 6 rd seems to be loosening up some (after 500 rds). Since I carry the 6 rd, I will start using the 7 rd'er at the range.

    Took my new Shield .40 to the ranger yesterday for the first time. Shot 100 rds of Remington 180 gr without any problems. Then shot 155 XTPs that were my loads. Shot 200 rds of that.     Where are all the Shields???

    I walked into my LGS yesterday and paid 429 and walked out the door woth a .40 Shield. I guess I was lucky.
