It is my understanding that most of the engineering revisions were cost saving on the part of S&W and it did not necessarily mean these changes made the gun better. Not sure what constructive thoughts can be offered now. We either get enough members to fill the 5K gun order or we get the distributor to pick up the overflow. Those seem to be the choices.

4500 is a lot of guns to take, considering these would be guns we wanted and not what Talo wanted. Just my thoughts

Well, that is some very interesting reading. You think Talo would take a 4500 gun order? That's a lot of damn guns....

I think, these are the questions the leaders of the project should ask the distributor, once one has been selected. Lots of speculation about what S&W will do or not do could be answered rather quickly by these folks.
