I love my 640-1 for 357. I carry 640 no dash more often. Model 60 if you require a hammer. These are great guns that can be found for at reasonable prices. I do not pocket carry so I have no use for the lightweights.

These will match the patina of my 28-2. I will take them. PM on the way.

For what you describe, I don't think you can do better than a 640 no dash! I have both the no dash (38 Special) and the 640-1 (357). I love them both - 640 in the pocket and -1 IWB. I think I have a hole in my hip where the cylinder rides.
